A GERMAN REQUIEM - Johannes Brahms
SERENADE in D Minor, Op. 44 - Antonin Dvorak

Catch a rare glimpse into Brahms’ heart in the stunning message of peace and hope that transcends religion and offers us all solace in the face of death. The Minnesota Valley Chorale (Director Rodney Urtel) and Minnesota State University, Mankato Concert Choir (Director Dr. David Dickau) collaborates with Conductor Ken Freed and the Mankato Symphony Orchestra to present the breathtaking German Requiem.

Brahms’ friend and protégé, Dvorak, wrote some of the most sublime serenades for the woodwinds. The gorgeous and romantic Dvorak SERENADE in D Minor, Op. 44 will feature the virtuosity and heartfelt expressiveness of our Symphonic woodwinds.
