What is the Family Series?
Each season, the Mankato Symphony Orchestra gives four shows designed to introduce young children to the delights of classical music. Each show is hosted by an actor in costume and the MSO String Quartet. They are a truly fun experience no matter your age, and it's a great way to get your children interested in music.
This year, you'll get to learn a little more about Mozart and music composition. If notes and rests and a bunch of swirly things are scary, don't worry. We'll make it much easier than that, and way more fun. Soon your little music lover might just be a little composer too.
