musical memory: The first day I brought my cello home I played
“Twinkle Twinkle” for my grandparents – they called my cello a “horn,”
not knowing what it was!
Favorite thing about performing music: Being a part of
recreating some of the most magnificent musical masterpieces of all time,
and sharing my passion for performing with others.
The composition I would most like to perform: Mark Summer’s
“Julie-O” for solo cello
Best part about being an MSO musician: Performing with our community’s
finest musicians under an absolutely phenomenal conductor. Instilling
my love for music in others, especially Mankato’s youth.
