Paula Anderson

Been with the MSO since: 1985

Hometown:  New Ulm

Education:  Bachelors in Psychology, Sociology, and Music

My day job: Private Violin Teacher - Co-Program Director for the New Ulm Suzuki School of Music

Earliest musical memory: Singing with my sister to the Beatles' "Eight Days A Week"

Favorite thing about performing music: Losing myself in the music

Other instruments I play: Viola (very poorly)

The composition I would most like to perform: Too numerous to mention

Best part about being an MSO musician: Being part of something bigger than myself and all the good friends I have come to know over the years.

What’s on my iPod or in my CD player:  Suzuki Volumes 1 - 8, 60's Rock-N-Roll, the current pieces we are playing in MSO, Krishna Das chants (they help me relax)

Other interesting facts(s): I love to spend time with friends and family, travel, go for long walks, eat in REALLY good restaurants, and sing in the car to the "oldies" (especially with my sister).
