HAYDN-GO-SEEK

Featuring Joe Rodgers as Papa Haydn

Papa Haydn leads four hilarious and zany mini-concerts with the MSO String Quartet. They will musically guide you and your children through a melodious menagerie of string quartet repertoire. Designed for children of all ages, this series will delight and enlighten as children listen and learn about what it really takes, besides inspiration and perspiration, to write such great music. Each concert is designed for short attention spans, most notably Papa Haydn’s, so don’t worry if this is your child’s first concert. Fun and laughter are here! Grandparents welcome as long as they can behave!!

The family series takes place at the YMCA, 1401 S. Riverfront Drive, Mankato.

"Three or four weeks after

the last Vivaldi concert,

we were driving somewhere and I had public radio on. They happened to be playing Winter from the Four Seasons, and after a minute or two, my five-year-old daughter says,

"hey, it's Viva Vivaldi!" That's one big reason

I support the Symphony. "

Steve Davis, MSO violist
