Rockin' Fourth of July

10:00 Red Hot Boom Fireworks-set to music choreographed by the Radio Mankato Stations.

City Mouse, Mankato’s favorite blues and classic rock band, performs at 7. After that the Mankato Symphony will take the stage playing lighter pops fare, including some patriotic favorites, classic rock, and some movie and TV theme music.  Then City Mouse and the Symphony will play some classic rock tunes together, completing their performance with the epic 1812 Overture, Stars and Stripes Forever, and the Star Spangled Banner. 

The Red Hot Boom Fireworks Celebration begins immediately following the concert, choreographed to music from the Radio Mankato stations.  Hear the music in the park or tune to radio stations KATO FM at 93.1, KXLP FM at 94.1 or KDOG at 96.7. Listen also with the I-heart radio app. 

Free  will donations are also encouraged at the gate. The Symphony will be offering Bingo as a fundraiser during the first half of the evening.
